Some awards are especially meaningful because of the people behind them.

This is one of those awards.

We are incredibly proud to share that The Palms Turks & Caicos has been named one of the Best Resorts in the Caribbean in Travel + Leisure’s 2026 World’s Best Awards, earning the No. 17 spot among an extraordinary collection of resorts across the region.

For a resort fortunate enough to call one of the most beautiful stretches of Grace Bay Beach home, accolades are always appreciated. But this particular recognition feels different.

The Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards are voted on by travelers themselves — the people who have actually packed their bags, boarded the plane, checked in, spent time at the resorts and destinations they love, and then shared which experiences stayed with them.

And that is what makes this honor so special to us.  It came from travelers.

A Place Our Guests Continue to Love

The Palms has been part of Grace Bay for more than two decades, and over those years, we’ve had the privilege of watching something wonderful happen.

Guests return.

Couples who once arrived for a romantic escape come back years later. Families return with children who seem to have grown impossibly tall since their last visit. Friends make Turks and Caicos an annual tradition. Familiar faces walk through our doors and are greeted by familiar faces waiting for them.

That sense of connection has always mattered to us.  And while The Palms has certainly evolved over the years, the heart of the experience has remained remarkably simple:

And now, The Palms returns to the list for 2026.

For us, that history matters. Travel trends change. New resorts open. Expectations evolve. The Caribbean is home to some of the most spectacular hotels and resorts anywhere in the world.

To continue earning the appreciation of discerning travelers over the years is something we will never take lightly.
