Celebrity Sightings in Turks and Caicos
Celebrities love Turks and Caicos. Besides being regularly recognized as the best island in the world, and home of Grace Bay, the world's best beach, Providenciales and the other islands of the Turks and Caicos are considered to be off the beaten track, offering celebrities the privacy they need.
It also doesn't hurt that the powdery white sand and crystal-clear turquoise sea also makes for excellent Instagram selfies these celebs can share with their fans and followers from all over the world.
Private Islands, Luxury Villas and a Mansion fit for a Prince
Brad Pitt, Ryan Seacrest, and Katie Couric make regular appearances on Providenciales and on a nearby private island.
While other celebrities have owned luxury villas on Providenciales or nearby cays, none have been quite so famous or mysterious as Minneapolis musician Prince, who died in 2016. Prince had been a long-time visitor to Provo, and maintained his own luxury villa in Turtle Tail.
However, Turks and Caicos is not just a secluded hideaway where publicity-shy celebs try to shun the spotlight.
If you have a sharp eye you'll notice that movie stars and other jet-setters drop in so frequently that Turks and Caicos may as well be in their back yard.
